Abstract: The study investigated strategies for improving study habits and library usage among undergraduate students in Bingham University. The study was guided by five research question. The design of the study was survey research design, the instrument used for data collection was questionnaire and data generated was analyzed using frequency table an simple percentage. (70) Copies of questionnaire were distributed to me students, sixty (60) copies were returned and found to be useful. The population of the study on 70 undergraduate students of the four faculties in e university under study. It was found that most students study rough concentration, group discussion and going through their lectures no es, also it was revealed that they use the library when they have assignments research work or during exams. The result also indicated a some of the factors militating library use include resources in the th r3|^k nOt U-? *° date’anci ^ey are not aware of the resources available in e ibrary. The paper recommended that library orientation programme s ou d be well organized and well planned, adequate current and re evant information resources should be provided in the library. Above all a equate and qualified staff should be employed for instruction programmes
