Abstract: | This paper is titled Public Relations Research: An Imperative forpublic relations practitioners" discusses the various methods of research used in solving organisational problems by the public relations practitioners. It x-rayed the role of public relations research, its' importance, types, methods, procedures, and problems encountered in carrying out research by the public relations practitioners. The paper asserts that due to the paramount importance of research in carrying out public relations programmes that public relations practitioners should be well trained and proficient in research studies. In this regard, it is s recommended that the management of organisations should employ public relations practitioners that have the pre-requisite experience to tackle an organisation's problems through research. |
