dc.description.abstractThe clinical features of hypoglycaemian and severe dehydration are similar, and these two can occure in a child presenting with acute diarrhoea. Hypoglycaemia occuring in growing brain is deletorious and must be detected and treated. To determine the prevalence of hypogycaemia among under five children presenting with acute diarrohae. Children with diarrhoea complicated with severe dehydration are prone to developing hypoglycaemia. it causes high mortality and thus this parameter should be checked.en_US
