dc.description.abstractThis paper assessed the impact of dividend policy on shareholders wealth maximization in Dangote Sugar Company. The data were collected from the annual reports of the Nigeria stock exchange. The study employs descriptive statistic and multiple regression to analyze the data to test the effect of dividend policy on shareholders wealth maximization. The result indicates that there is positive relationship between the dividend payout and shareholders wealth maximization. Based on this finding, study recommends that financial managers of enterprise should ensure that shareholders receive dividend in return of their investment to encourage more investments.en_US
